Brunch is always a good idea. Whether you’re celebrating someone special or indulging in well-deserved downtime, here are a few of our favorite spots for Brunch up and down the coast.

A book cover with variety of food on plates

Hidden Kitchen (Cayucos & Cambria) – Famous for their vibrant blue corn waffles and organic, coastal-inspired menu. The Cayucos location gets quite busy so plan ahead, but the Cambria spot offers the same incredible food in a more relaxed setting.
Lunada Bistro – A slightly upscale, yet approachable brunch spot with fresh, coastal-inspired dishes. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality sets them apart. Creative dishes, fresh ingredients, and a laid-back coastal vibe.
Cayucos Gas Station Burritos – Not fancy, but legendary. The Mexican restaurant tucked inside serves massive, flavor-packed breakfast burritos. A local secret spot for a seriously scrumptious meal.

 Morro Bay

Frankie & Lola’s – Tucked near the Rock, this cozy café delivers comfort food with a twist, think lemon poppyseed pancakes and crab cake eggs benedict. Welcoming, unpretentious, and consistently good.
Shine Café – Vegetarian, healthy, and fresh. Ideal for a light but satisfying brunch on a sunny patio. Their breakfast bowls and smoothies are local go-tos.

Los Osos

Wayward Bakery – Open weekends only, but absolutely worth the trip. Small-batch baked goods with rustic charm and incredible flavor.  A local favorite.
Mirazur – Elevated but not over-the-top. The perfect place if you want to treat mom (or yourself) to something a bit more refined without leaving the neighborhood.

San Luis Obispo

Bon Temps Creole Café – Crispy hashbrowns, Cajun-spiced classics, and a laid-back, funky atmosphere. Great for moms who like a little kick in their brunch.
The Spirit of San Luis – A hidden gem by the airport where you can sip coffee and watch planes take off. Surprisingly good food in a one-of-a-kind setting.

CambriaSoto’s True Earth Market – Tucked inside a small grocery, this walk-up café offers surprisingly fresh and flavorful food. Unassuming, but consistently excellent.
Linn’s – A classic for a reason. Their brunch is tasty and hearty and yes, you should absolutely take home a slice of olallieberry pie.
Hidden Kitchen (Cayucos & Cambria) – Famous for their vibrant blue corn waffles and organic, coastal-inspired menu. The Cayucos location gets quite busy so plan ahead, but the Cambria spot offers the same incredible food in a more relaxed setting.
