Come stay at one of the nicest vacation home available in the Morro Bay area! This designer-decorated home looks like it was taken from the pages of House Beautiful magazine! Not only is the home beautifully decorated and appointed throughout, it is in a perfect location with unobstructed picturesque views of the bay and the ocean beyond and it’s within easy walking distance to downtown Morro Bay and the Embarcadero. Across the street are stairs that lead directly down to Tideland’s park. This home was built in 2004 and was just converted to a vacation rental in late 2011 so everything in the home is in pristine condition. This is a 2-story home with the living, dining and kitchen areas upstairs (see floor plan above). These rooms are open to each other so they create a large space that is great for a gathering of friends or family. The big screen TV, gas fireplace and comfortable furniture all contribute to making this a delightful space to relax in. From this great room, there are doors that open to a balcony with million dollar views! There is a half bath adjacent to the living room.
When it is time to retreat for some relaxation or quiet time, there are 2 master bedroom suites - one upstairs and one downstairs – each with a king-size bed and TV. Both master suites have a large bathroom containing a jetted tub, separate shower and double sinks so this home is perfect for 2 couples wanting to get away together and yet have some personal space too. There are 2 other bedrooms downstairs that share a large bathroom. The bedroom with two twin beds is very spacious and has French doors that open onto a little patio with beautiful views of the bay. The other bedroom has a queen-size hide-away bed sofa (mattress is top-of-the-line memory foam), a large flat-screen TV and an exercise bike. This room can also serve as a separate living area where you can escape from the group to do some reading or watch your own favorite TV program.
In addition to the upstairs deck that has a patio table with 4 chairs and a gas grill, this home also has a small nicely landscaped backyard with a couple of chairs where you can relax with your glass of wine and a good book and soak in the sun in a protected area.
There are many activities and restaurants to take advantage of in close proximity to the home. Go walk the Embarcadero to enjoy some shopping and eating. Grab the kayaks that are provided at the home and go for a paddle on the bay to see the many birds and sea life that inhabit this beautiful corner of the world.
